EG offers a range of fibres for Industrial applications.These include polarisation maintaining fibres for many applications from Fibre lasers to Optical sensors and Gyroscopes.Fujikura is the world leading supplier of PM fibres with more than 30 years experience in this field.We offer PM fibres for wavelengths from 400 nanometers upwards in a range of coatings (250, 400, 900 micron, Flame retardent), we offer reduced cladding (80micron)PM fibres, low birefringence fibres for use with temperature sensitive devices, dispersion shifted PM fibres and high NA PM fibres.Custom designs are possible.All of our PM fibres are easily spliced using our PM splicers.We also supplies large core fibres for applications in industrial lasers.These have core sises from 200micron to 2mm. We supply step index large core fibres as well as Gradient index fibres.The wavelength ranges cover the UV region from 300nm, up to the near infra red region at 1064nm.We offer Hard Polymer cladding coatings, Polyamide and Polyimide coatings. We also supply cleavers specifically designed for use with our range of large core fibres. Fujikura and EG do not offer maintenance services and technical support to splicers that were purchased new from unauthorised resellers in Europe. FEL and FEL's authorised distributors are the only authorised resellers of Fujikura splicers in Europe.
